Silvo is the best Kodi build for you if you’re looking for a great home of all things Kodi. It has a plethora of add-ons with all of the different types of content. This is one of the best builds to install and is a great addition to any device.
The Silvo Kodi Build is a Kodi 17 Krypton fork that is currently in development. The Silvo Kodi Build currently has Kodi 17BMC 13.4 and will soon be replacing it with Kodi 17.1. The Silvo Kodi Build was created to bring Kodi to the Silvo device and as such it has support of the device. This build is still being developed and we are awaiting the official update to Kodi 17.1 to implement some new features.
In this guide, I will introduce you to the Silvo Kodi build for Kodi 18.9 and later, including Kodi Krypton 17.6. You will also learn how to install it on various Kodi compatible devices, such as Amazon FireStick, Fire TV & Fire TV Cube, Android TV & boxes, Android phones, Mac & Windows and others.
Silvo Kodi build from Multibuild Wizard is a relatively new build. It is likely that you have never heard of it. I recently came across this build and found it interesting enough to include it in our list of best Kodi builds.
Silvo is a regular meeting with regular options. By ordinary I mean it covers everything you need for your streaming pleasure. It has a robust library of pre-installed add-ons. You can watch movies and series, sports and live broadcasts, kids videos, documentaries and adult content.

How do I install Silvo Build on Kodi
The build is installed using the MultiBuild wizard. As I write this tutorial, the MultiBuild wizard has a Leia build called Leia Silvo and two Krypton builds, namely Krypton Silvo and MetropolisMulti Build. I have divided the installation process of the Silvo build into several parts to make it easier for you to understand and follow.
Attention KODI users: please read before continuing
Kodi addons / modules offer unlimited streaming content, but can also get you in legal trouble if you get caught watching movies / TV shows / sports for free. Kodi users are strongly advised to always connect a VPN when streaming online. A good Kodi VPN can hide your identity, bypass government surveillance, block content, and ISP throttling (which also contributes to buffer-free streaming).
I use ExpressVPN, which is the fastest and most secure VPN. It is very easy to install on any device, including the Amazon FireStick. Get 3 months free and save 49% on annual plans. There is also a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you can always ask for a refund.

Allow unknown sources
If you want to install a third-party build, make sure the Unknown Sources option is enabled in the Kodi settings. Kodi wants to protect your device from malicious plugins if you leave this option disabled. Perform the following steps:
1. Open the Kodi application and open Settings in the top left corner.
2. Select and open the system settings in Kodi Krytpon or System in Kodi Leia.
3. You should see a menu on the left. Click on Add-ons
Click the button to the right of the Unknown Sources item to enable it if it is disabled.
4. Click Yes when you see this message.
Kodi warns users about the potential risks of downloading third-party plug-ins. However, you can ignore this message because Kodi multibuilds are safe.
By doing this, you are configuring Kodi to install the Silvo version. Let’s get started.
Detailed installation process for Silvo Kodi Build
Let’s break down this installation process into two simple parts as follows:
- In the first part we will install the MultiBuild wizard from source.
- In the second part, we will install Silvo Kodi Build using the MultiBuild wizard.
Each party has its own set of steps. I’ll tell you right now.
PART 1: Installing the MultiBuild Wizard
Wizards are useful Kodi add-ons that also contain a build library. The MultiBuild wizard currently contains two versions of Kodi.
To install the MultiBuild Wizard, do the following:
#1 : Open the Kodi app on your device and tap Settings on the home screen.
#2 : Now choose the file manager from the following options
If you’re a Kodi Leia user, you’ll see a file manager option in the top left corner.
#3 : In the next screen, click on Add a source (left or right, it doesn’t matter).
#4 : In the next window that appears, click <No>.
#5 : Enter the source URL from where you want to download the MultiBuild wizard: http://multibuild.info/mbwiz.
Enter the URL carefully. If the path is specified incorrectly, Kodi will not install the master.
#6 : When you return to this window, you can name the resource you just added. You can choose mbwiz as your default name or any other name you want.
I recommend you choose a name that identifies with the source, as you will need it later in this section.
#7 : You should now go back to the Kodi home screen and click on Extras.
#8 : Click on the package installer (this is the open box icon in the top left corner of the next window).
#9 : Select Install from zip file
#10 : Now click on the name of the resource you added some time ago. I click on mbwiz because that’s the name I chose.
#11 : Now click on the zip file with the name plugin.program.mbwiz.zip
#12 : Wait until the MultiBuild Wizard has been installed. This may take 2 to 3 minutes. Once the installation is complete, a message will appear indicating that the MultiBuild Wizard add-on has been installed.
Message: You will not see any activity on the screen while the wizard is installing. It happens in the background. Waiting for message
#13 : You have successfully installed the MultiBuild Wizard on Kodi. A pop-up window with notes from the developer should now appear. Click Cancel to remove this pop-up window.
#14 : Another pop-up window appears with some settings. Select all the options you want to include, or leave them as they are. Click on Next
#15 : Another pop-up window appears. This will take you directly to the Build menu. Here’s what you can do. You can also navigate to the build menu from the Kodi home screen. I’ll show you how to do this in the next part.
#16 : These pop-ups tend to reappear. Press the same buttons again.
PART 2: Installing Silvo Kodi Build
In this part we will install the Silvo Kodi build from the MultiBuild wizard. Here’s what you need to do:
#1 : Go to the Kodi home screen
#2 : Click on Add-ons
#3 : In the next window, click on Program Options on the left and open the MultiBuild Wizard.
#4 : In the next window, click on (MB) Builds.
#5 : If you have Kodi 17.6, select the Krypton Silvo build in the Krypton Builds section.
Leia users will select Leia Silvo in Leia Builds.
#6 : On the next screen, click Fresh Install to reset Kodi to its default settings before installing the version.
Message: While you can also choose the Standard install and try to restore some of your existing data, I strongly recommend choosing the Fresh install before installing a build. This ensures optimal performance of the assembly.
#7 : Click Next to confirm that you are ready to restore Kodi to its default configuration.
#8 : Wait for the Silvo Kodi version to load.
#9 : When the download is complete, the compilation installs itself.
#10 : Once the build is installed, the multi-build wizard will prompt you to install one of the included themes. You can install the theme later. Let’s start with the assembly of Silvo Kodi.
Click on Cancel subjects
#11 : Then press Force Close to close the Kodi application. It is important that you close Kodi to complete the installation.
You have successfully installed the Silvo Kodi version using the Kodi MultiBuild wizard.
Before you start streaming video with Kodi addons or modules, I want to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and the government. This means that streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, live broadcasts and sports) can lead to legal problems.
Fortunately, there is a reliable way to hide all your streaming activities from your ISP and the government. All you need is a good VPN for Kodi. A VPN masks your original IP address and helps you bypass surveillance, ISPs and geographical restrictions on content.
Personally, I use and recommend ExpressVPN, the fastest and most secure VPN. It is compatible with all types of applications and streaming devices.
OPINION: We do not encourage copyright infringement. But what if you accidentally upload content from an illegal source? It is not always easy to distinguish between a legal and an illegal source.
So before you start streaming on Kodi, read here how to get VPN protection in 3 easy steps.
Step one: Purchase your ExpressVPN subscription HERE. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. This means you can use it for free for the first 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the service (which is unlikely), you can ask for a full refund.
Step two: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN application on your streaming device. If you are using a FireStick, I have included the exact steps below, starting with step 4.
Step three: Click on the power icon to connect to the VPN server. That’s it. Now your connection is secure with the fastest and best VPN for Kodi.
The steps to install Kodi VPN on Fire TV devices are described below. If you have other broadcast devices, follow steps 1 to 3 above.
Step four: Sign up for ExpressVPN HERE (if you are not already a subscriber).
Step 5: Go to the Fire TV Stick home screen. Click the Search button and then the Search option (see figure below).
Step six: Type expressvpn into the search bar and select when it appears.
Seventh step: Click on the Download button.
Step 8: Open the ExpressVPN application and log in using the username and password you created when you purchased your ExpressVPN subscription.
Step 9: Click on the power icon to connect to the VPN server. That’s it. Now your FireStick is protected with the fastest VPN.
Use Silvo MultiBuild Kodi Build
Restart Kodi as usual to start Silvo Build on Kodi. You will be greeted by a whole new residential landscape. This is a big difference from the default Kodi skin.
Give the build a few minutes to update the addons. This is important for the normal functioning of the body.
As you can see, the layout is pretty standard. There is a full width menu bar with a contextual sub menu bar.
The version also includes all the usual sections of the main menu, including movies, TV shows, sports, live, kids, adults, etc.
Yes! The sections for children and adults are headings on the home page. You should be careful before giving your children access to this set.
You’d expect a version of this size to include a large catalog of pre-installed add-ons – and it does. You’ll find all the popular addons, including The Magic Dragon, DeathStar, SportsDevil, Numbers, YouTube, and more.
For its size, I found the Silvo Kodi assembly to be quite fast. I then used it on my computer and on Android. On the FireStick, as expected, it was a bit slow. It wasn’t necessarily annoying, but there are faster versions that offer a smoother experience on the FireStick.
As for the add-on library, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. It has just about every add-on I use. There are many variations of movies and shows. The sports section is a good choice for SportsDevil. The live part isn’t bad either, but it’s not particularly good.
The user interface of Silvo Kodi seems simple enough. There aren’t many flashy graphics here. Images used as background keep the interface from looking cluttered or sloppy. The background of the main menu bar does not contrast too much with the elements. Therefore, readability may be a little difficult for some (just a little). Navigation is smooth enough. You can navigate to each item from the menu bar.
Overall, the Kodi Silvo build from MultiBuild Wizard is a good build to try.
